Fundación Restaurando Futuro

Our organization was funded in 2019, thanks to the friendship established between Iván Morales (Sociologist), Mauricio Romero (Lawyer) and Juliana Ríos (Psychologist), in the city of Ibagué - Tolima in Colombia. Identified by working with people with problems associated with the abusive and problematic consumption of psychoactive substances. Thanks to the initiative of each one of promoting alternative research processes and proposals to contribute to the solution of social problems in the Colombian territory. They decide to form this non-profit entity, whose purpose is to develop innovative processes for the elaboration of creative solutions that integrate new technologies in the dynamics of social intervention.

Since 2019 we have worked on independent research processes, supporting the pedagogical intervention processes carried out by the Creandes Corporation through the Cinexclusion project. During 2020, it provided documentation to support the recovery of the cultural heritage contained in the Egyptian Palace in Medellín, delivering the findings to the Fundación Visión Planeta Azul. In 2021 we decided to integrate technologies from the fourth industrial revolution into our cultural studies, formulating the Taiba NFT Gallery project, obtaining funding from the Ministry of Culture in the Innovation Laboratories for Orange Economy Entrepreneurship category. Participating in the laboratory of immersive narratives and new media led by the British Council in 2021. Creators of Expo Metaverso 2022 in the city of Pereira. Managing to impact 50 children in the cities of Ibagué, Pereira, Cali - Colombia and Lexington in the US.
